Angolan Diamond Industry Delegation in Macau to Explore Cooperation, Opportunities

A public company responsible for prospecting, recognition, exploration, cutting, and marketing of diamonds, met with the leadership of Forum Macau on Friday to explore cooperation and opportunities.

Ganga Júnior, the president of ENDIAMA, presented his intention to strengthen Chinese investments in diamond production in Angola, according to a press release by the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries (Forum Macau). Mr. Graça Júnior also expressed interest in forging new partnerships with Chinese companies in various sectors, such as agribusiness, infrastructure, energy, and aquaculture. He requested the support of Forum Macau in facilitating a dialogue with potential investors and partners from Macau and mainland China.

During the meeting, Ji Xianzheng, the Secretary-General of Forum Macau, expressed a strong willingness to cooperate with ENDIAMA in its quest to gain a better understanding of Macau as a diamond and gem market.

The president of the Macau·China Diamond and Gem Exchange (MDGE), Su Wei, was also in attendance, along with other Forum Macau officials, including Deputy Secretary-General Apulo Espírito Santo and Angolan Delegate Agostinho dos Santos.
